Margot is a duo formed by two Italians guys: Pepe and Giaga. Were born in 1978.
Pepe begins his music experience when he was 14 studying rhytmics while Giaga takes his first steps in the music world playing Keyboards and singing at 14 too.
At 16 years old both get very interested in electronic music!!!!!!In those years (around 1995) they liked doing loops for the dancefloor with an old Atari and at the same time playing in some pubs pop-rock Italian and international music, accompanied by a multitrack tape.
Then, after several experiences both as musicians than as djs in famous Italian clubs, in 2005 was born the project Margot whose ambition is doing music freely and without impositions and standards by anybody... They intend the dancefloor music melodic and passional and at the.

Margot's releases via their own Margot Records label (a couple of which feature in this mix) have long been a staple of James Holden's DJ sets, so it was high time that we gave them their debut Border Community outing: the momentous four-track 'France 2 EP' hits shops on 25th October 2010.
Already long-established on the club circuit in their native Italy, Margot's Corsica Studios appearance on Friday will be the first UK showcase of their unique live-and-DJ-set combination (including a sneak preview of the delights of the 'France 2 EP'), where Pepe's impressive DJ skills are complemented and modified by the addition of Giaga's own live vocals and interactive dynamic versions of their own original materia
